THE LITTLE SUGARFOOT
Hi! My name is Elyse, and I am a nineteen year old photographer from Montreal (Canada).
I am currently doing a project on people and their physical insecurities. Basically, I am searching for models who will be willing to reveal what they dislike the most about their body, where afterwards I will photograph them with their ”flaw” highlighted by lighting or body position. Obviously, I am searching for people in the Montreal area, but otherwise anyone is welcome to participate! Men, women, plus size, thin… It really doesn’t matter. The goal of this project is to illustrate the ambivalence of the viewers in, say, a gallery, who might see these pictures as simple portraits, whereas the subjects will feel the unease of what they try to hide on a daily basis being revealed to a certain public.
Unfortunately, I do not have any scans of my final prints, as these are not digital images and are currently in my teacher’s hands, being corrected. I work with a Yashica model A, a twin lens film camera handed down from my grand father. I develop and enlarge my films at school, where we have the required facilities.

Q:Hi I'm doing a disposable camera project which mean I send disposable cameras to girls across the world, they then fill the camera with photographs of their lives, choosing to photograph whatever they want, they then send the camera back to me. Hi! I am a 19 year old female amateur photographer living in the GTA. I mostly just love taking pictures, and I recently upgraded my camera to a Canon Rebel T3i (600D). I saw Amateur Artists Connection as a great way to start getting myself out there to meet new people and try new things as a means to cope with the depression that I’ve always struggled with and my newly-diagnosed bipolar disorder.
I am of Indian and Canadian descent, and I am a size 22/24. I’m basically willing to take photographs for just the cost of transportation, because all I have is my camera and limited experience (basically my dog has been my only model so far). Hi, my name is Rima, I co-admin this blog (though it’s Essence’s baby).
I’m 25 and living in Belgium (Europe). I’m a hobby photographer and usually use myself as the subject. I’d love to photography others and/or model (no nudes).
My camera is a Canon EOS 50D and I usually use my nifty fifty (50mm 1.8F) lens for portraits and my 17-40mm for full body photographs.
I’ll photograph/model for free and I’m willing to travel to the borders of the Netherlands and France provided we share gasoline costs. As for make-up and wardrobe I can provide my own.

I live in Savannah, GA. I am a fat redhead who likes to work interchangeably with film (Asahi Petax Spotmatic) and digital (Canon EOS 550D). I also crochet a lot so if any lovely models want to help model some of my hats and other creations that would be really awesome since I can never seem to network and find other people to model them besides myself and usually my disgruntled sister.
